Home made basic nut butters

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups roasted nuts of your choice(with or without skins)
  • pinch of himalayan or herbal salt
  • 1/4 cup cold pressed sunflower oil (can be obtained at Wilsons foods, in CT 021 7044000

Directions

  1. Place nuts and salt in a blender and slowly spoon the oil in until it forms a smooth paste. you can add more oil for a more smooth texture

    A really good nutbutter is the cornerstone of a vegan diet. Good source of protein, great taste and superb textures.
