Roasted butternut with masala
Ingredients
- 1 large butternut, sliced into rings with skin on
- 1 T peanut oil
- 3 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander
- 1/4 t herbal salt
- 2 ml fructose or jaggery or sugar
- pinch of ground leaf masala
- pinch of ground garam masala
- fresh coriander for garnish
Directions
Pre heat the oven to 180 deg.
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, cover the butternut with the mix
Place the rings on a baking tray and roast until golden and crispy turning over half way through, then arrange in a serving dish and sprinkle on the garnish
